Error 'Unable To Connect Discoverer Server: Null' When Opening A Second Plus Session From The Same Browser (Doc ID 790187.1)

Symptoms

Login to Discoverer Plus and run any workbook. Leave Discoverer connection browser open.
From the same connection browser, open a second connection to Discoverer Plus and the following error is encountered:

'Unable to connect to the Discoverer server: null. Please contact your Application Server administrator'.
