Doing renames of applications in Essbase (either through AAS console, MaxL or Esscmd), occasionally the rename will fail with the following error:
Renaming Analytical Services Application [SGIB] Fails against the Shared Services Server with Error [Warning! Application does not exist.]
Command Failed. Return Status = 1051473
The HSS Metadata.log shows :
- <timestamp> [http-443-Processor57] ERROR com.hyperion.eie.common.cms.CMSFacade - org.apache.slide.common.ServiceAccessException:
Service org.apache.slide.store.impl.rdbms.JDBCStore@2d59a3 access error: Connection is closed.
Trying the rename again immediately after the fail always works without error (without restarting anything).
The rename will fail 1 in 4 times.
