Smart View Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) Functions are Preceded by the Full Path to HsTBar.xla (Doc ID 827523.1)

Last updated on JULY 31, 2018

Applies to:

Hyperion Planning - Version 11.1.2.3.000 to 11.1.2.3.000 [Release 11.1]
Hyperion Financial Management - Version 9.2.0.0.00 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

SmartView Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) functions are preceded by the full path to HsTbar.xla. When a SmartView spreadsheet is opened, SmartView fails to update the links so instead of the SmartView formula containing, "=HsGetValue(...)" the cell contains, for example, "='C:\Hyperion\SmartView\bin\HsTbar.xla'!HsGetValue(...)". The path will depend on the installation folder of the PC that was used to create the spreadsheet.
