Symptoms

When running an Interface that writes to a Microsoft Access database using IKM Access Incremental Update, the following error is displayed:

Syntax error in CREATE TABLE statement

The generated SQL code is:

create table C$_0TABLENAME
(
C1_COL1 VARCHAR(50) ,
C2_COL2 VARCHAR(50)
)

The full error is:
-3551 : 37000 : java.sql.SQLException: [Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Syntax error in CREATE TABLE statement.
