(Doc ID 851781.1)

Applies to:Hyperion BI+ - Version 188.8.131.52.00 to 184.108.40.206.500 [Release 11.1]
Information in this document applies to any platform.
Within the Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) 220.127.116.11, new settings were added to allow the default number of export rows/columns to be extended from the default value.
The default limit values are:
columns count: 65000
rows count: 256
These default limits are set within the Interactive Reporting (IR) Intelligence Service to ensure the amount of exported data, does not exceed the limit restrictions in 3rd party applications. The default limits are suitable for 3rd party products such as Microsoft Excel 2003 (and prior), that had these limit restrictions.
The values may require modification, for example, where using Microsoft Excel 2007 and that products restrictions have been increased. Within the Microsoft Excel 2007, the limit has been expanded to Columns 16384 and Rows 1 Million.
These settings are new as of EPM 18.104.22.168 , and are configurable within the Interactive Reporting Intelligence Services. The values will affect the iHTML client and scheduled jobs.
Note: For IR Studio the equivalent settings may be set within that clients properties option. Refer to Doc ID 1383197.1 "BI+ Interactive Reporting Options For Exporting To Alternate Microsoft Excel Format".
