How to Manually Enable the Remote Diagnostic Agent ( RDA ) Compiled Engine When Perl is Not Available (Doc ID 1603021.1)

Purpose

This knowledge article will describe how to manually enable RDA's compiled binary engine. The compiled engine allows RDA to work without having to install or make Perl accessible.

Note:

From RDA 8.02 and higher, RDA automatically enables the compiled engine if Perl is not available or accessible. If you are using 8.02 or higher, it should not be necessary to follow the advice in this knowledge article unless the automatic configuration of the compiled engine has failed.

The article assumes you have downloaded and installed Remote Diagnostic Agent. You may also have reviewed one or more of the following:
