The basic concept of the Monitoring Apps Unlimited Service (MAU) is the ability to define and periodically look for events (faults, issues, availability) in customer instances.

A Monitoring Unit (MAU) represents the logic check for a problem, plus all attributes necessary to implement its detection, handling and resolution (like SQL, Product, Component, Component, frequency to run etc).

These sensors are packaged into a system that deploys them to the customer's environments and runs the checks with some predefined frequency.
