Purpose

Overview

Volume Incentive functionality provides a third means of issuing volume discounts within the EnterpriseOne pricing structure. Rebates and basket/order level adjustments are the two existing volume discount adjustments. Rebates are applied over a time frame, but only after invoicing has completed. Basket/Order Level Adjustments are accumulated for an entire order, but not over multiple orders. Volume Incentive functionality calculates the adjustment based on the accumulated value of multiple sales orders, and provides a means of discounting at Sales Order Entry (P4210) time.

The user can setup a Volume Incentive Adjustment based on either Single Rate Pricing or Sliding Rate Pricing. A Single Rate example is provided below. For full details on Sliding Rates, please refer to document ID 638523.1
