E1: UPG: General Questions On User Environments Information Table F0093 After JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Software Upgrade (Doc ID 1077621.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 17, 2022

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version S13 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

This information is valid through latest JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.x (9.0 or 9.1) application release levels. In this scenario used as example here, customer is upgrading from EnterpriseOne ERP 8.0 to 8.11 SP1 application release level. They have these issues and general questions about User Environments Information Table F0093:

Questions:

1. Have upgraded from ERP8 SP23_T1 to E811 SP1 and found that all records in F0093 (User Environments information table) are NOT upgraded by the Upgrade process.

2. Before upgrade, there was a custom environment 'JNPDFIN' assigned to user group A and this user group has been converted to user role A during the upgrade from ERP8 to E811. In E811, customer used the same custom environment name 'JNPDFIN' after upgrade and therefore it is expected that the environment assigned on the user group level in ERP8 will be upgraded to E811's user role. However this is NOT the case. Please advise.

3. The User Role information e.g. F0092 is copied from ERP8 to E811 during upgrade and environment assigned on user role level are also part of the user role information.
