E1: WRKFLW: Unable to Receive any External E-mail for All Users (Doc ID 1083638.1)

Symptoms

Users are unable to receive any UBE completion messages or workflow messages in their external email out of a sudden. It previously worked but now it isn't.

The following errors are found in the Workflow Kernel jde.log on the Enterprise Server:




When users try to test SMTP server connection by entering the following command in Command Prompt (Start->Run->cmd.exe) from the Server, there is a connection failure:

telnet <SMTP SERVER> 25
