Symptoms

After increasing the JVM heap size in the JDE.INI for XMLPVMOptions, XML Publisher and jdenet kernels crash or reflect a zombie status. This causes all BI Publisher Report Definitions to end in error status.

Example:

Stanza = [JDE JVM]

Default Setting: XMLPVMOptions=-Djava.compiler=NONE -Xmx256M
Increased Setting: XMLPVMOptions=-Djava.compiler=NONE -Xmx1024M
