Purpose

This document contains information about the 21CFR11 Auditing tool.  This document lists methodology and steps to be used for troubleshooting 21CFR11 Auditing issues.  Is also includes references to the documentation about 21CFR11 Auditing for additional reading in this area.  Links to FAQ's for 21CFR11 Auditing are included in this document.  Prerequisites for CFR11 Setup
 Checklist for issues while enabling Auditing
 Symptom: Auditing for one table is not getting enabled but for other tables auditing is enabled successfully.
 Symptom: Unable to enable Auditing on certain tables like F0111
 Symptom: Unable to enable auditing and there are no errors displayed on the screen or displayed by the application
 Symptom: Enabling audit on table F0005 fails when trying to create the Row Insert Before trigger.
 Symptom: Some UBEs Fail to Run on the Enterprise Server with Table Auditing Enabled
 Symptom: P950005 application does not work when Lock Manager is turned ON.
 Symptom: Is it possible to enable auditing manually from the database using Sql queries?
 Symptom: dbtemplates.exe  file in System/Bin32 directory, fails to execute. All required OCMs and Audit tables are configured correctly by following the CFR11 guide.
 Symptom: You are not able to enable auditing for the pathcode receiving error JDB9900615.
 Symptom:  Unable To Enable Audit On Tables; Failed To Create Global Table Specs For 'A' Table
 Symptom: Not able to enable auditing on any table despite all the required OCMs, after creating non julian data source and with all other required settings in place.
 Issues when Disabling Auditing
 Symptom: Disabling auditing on any table fails with the following errors. This happens on the DB2/400 database
 Symptom: After upgrading the Tools Release, you are no longer able to Disable Auditing on previously defined Audit Tables.
 Symptom: Not able to disable Auditing on previously defined Audit Tables and switching off Auditing is causing All UBEs to Fail.
 Auditing on JAS
 Symptom: Unable to run any application in HTML Client after installing 21CFR11
 Symptom: Web users not able to work on applications whose table is turned ON for auditing.
 Symptom: The auditing data is captured as "dbo" user instead of JDE user.
 Symptom: Unable to enable auditing for a specific table. Error: OCI0000179 - Error - ORA-01157: cannot identify/lock data file 608 - see DBWR trace file
 Symptom: All columns are not seen in the audit table (A* table). Few are missing when compared to the base table(F* table), Why?
