JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 8.98 and laterIBM i on POWER Systems
Symptoms
When running EnterpriseOne 9.0 with Tools Release 8.98.2.0 on an AS400 Server, an error message occurs for JDENET_K: ILE C heap control structure has been corrupted
This issue can be caused by any of the following symptoms:
- Call Object kernel jobs have C2M1212 or C2M1211 messages in their JOBLOGS. Call Object Kernels handle E1 logic from applications and BSFNS.
- JDE jobs may consume excessive CPU. Call stacks might not be available. Ending jobs normally may not be possible.
- The code is looping because the heap has been severely corrupted. An IPL may be required.
- The issue is not specific to logic on IBM i, but the problem was experienced on an EnterpriseOne IBM i implementation.
The messages and the techniques for diagnosing the issue are specific to an IBM i implementation.
