E1: XMLP: RD Jobs End With E-Mail Delivery Failing Intermittently (Doc ID 1267657.1)

Symptoms

BI Publisher fails to deliver documents with a "Communication Failure" status.The errors seems to start happening after about 2 days of the BI Publisher kernel running and only happen when bursting and delivering the documents. When the issue happens ,you can go in and "redeliver" and the emails will be sent successfully.

The following is the error message in logs for the XML Publisher kernel.
