Goal

In this scenario here, customer is completing their upgrade from EnterpriseOne 8.10 to 9.0 application release level. They would like clarification on what Post Upgrades Tasks - Manual Upgrade Table Conversions are needed to be run.

The JDE EnterpriseOne 9.0 Upgrade Guide - Chapter 13 - "Manual Table Conversions" states that the user should fast path to the Post Install Menu GH9619 "where you run the UBEs listed in this table". The conversion programs in the guide do NOT correspond to the jobs in the Post Install menu. So, it is unclear what exactly should be run. The GH9619 menu has sub menus for "Convert 8.9 to Current Release", "Convert 8.10 to Current Release", "Convert 8.11 to Current Release", "Convert 8.11 SP1 to Current Release", "Convert 8.12 to Current Release" plus sub-menus specific to Migrations and CRM.

For example, The sub-menu for converting from 8.11 SP1 to Current Release lists job "Convert F069116 From ERP8.0, 8.9, 8.11, or 8.11 SP1 to 8.12", but this job is not listed under any other menus? What jobs should be run? Only the jobs from our "from release" to current release OR jobs from our "from release" submenu up through the other submenus including the 8.11 SP1 submenu? Is there documentation available for these table conversions (TCs)?

As customer in this case is on EnterpriseOne 8.10, when doing the "Manual Table Conversions" described on Upgrade Guide - Chapter 13, should they be doing the TCs only from section "Upgrading from 8.10 or below"? Are there any other sections that need to be done?

The knowledge included in this document is meant for users that have a basic understanding of the Upgrade process and have read the Upgrade Guides.  Refer to this link here for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Upgrade Documentation - Release 9.1.x.
