Last updated on APRIL 18, 2025

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 8.98 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After setting up row security as below, in certain applications, such as P03B11 Invoice Entry, the Currency fields including the 'Foreign' check box, Currency Code, and Exchange Rate do not show.  A review of the SL CurrencyProcessing variable shows this variable was assigned as NULL.

Row Security setup:

Example in Web client:

What is the cause of the issue and how do we workaround this issue?

NOTE:
  • This issue occurs when EnterpriseOne gets the system variable SL CurrencyProcessing.
  • The issue is specific to the Web client.

Changes

Inclusive Row security is applied allowing the user/role access to only one Company value such as Company 00001.
