E1: SEC: Unable to Login to E1 With An Account Attached to the JDE System User (Doc ID 1278734.1)

Symptoms

When the QPWDLVL is set to 2 for the proxy user (JDE) the system is not able to validate the password. The following error message is displayed in the Server JDE.LOG:




When QPWDLVL is set to 2 it allows the use of upper/lower case and special characters for the (JDE) system/proxy user.
