Purpose

This document explains E1 AS400 users files that will need to be deleted periodically on your iSeries Enterprise Server.  This is basic and general maintenance recommendations.

Scope

While Oracle Support is providing this information of temporary files that need to be deleted from the AS400, it is beyond the scope of Oracle Support to recommend or write commands to delete these files.  Therefore, it is possible to write CL programs or SBMJOB commands to automatically and periodically delete these files as a maintenance routine, however, it is your responsibility to write and schedule this maintenance. 

Any issues encountered with such programs, scripts or commands is solely the responsibility of the customer.  Help from IBM may be necessary.

• Tnn (T**)
• Unn (U**)
• CPP*
