(Doc ID 1289291.1)

Applies to:
JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Advanced Pricing - Sales - Version XE and later Information in this document applies to any platform.
Purpose
Overview
Price Approval functionality provides the ability to control and monitor price changes made in the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne system. With the Price Approval process activated the system can detect when a user adds or changes a base price or an adjustment record (P4072). An automatic notification will be sent to the appropriate people for their approval or rejection of the update. The prices are created as pending and are not used to price orders until the approval process is complete. Price approvals are routed through EnterpriseOne Workflow Management.
Prices that are routed through the Price Approval process are:
Base Prices (for sales)
Adjustment Details
Price Variables
Price Formulas
Rebate Thresholds
Notes: 1. Price approval was designed to work with sales based pricing and schedules. The JDEPRAPPR process does not work with item costs (F4105). Price Approval is an additional feature of Sales Order Management and Advanced Pricing. 2. Batch price maintenance programs (R41830, R41840) will not activate the workflow process. Prices created by these programs are automatically approved.
