Symptoms

A critical performance issue with JT 400 ( Major version 9, Minor version 2) could cause JDE E1 to come to a state where new users are not able to log on and/or existing users are not able to execute any operations.  The main indicator of the issue is the occurrence of the following callstack on the AS400 Read Daemon threads that is found on JVM thread dumps:

Changes

The problem could get triggered when client upgrades to JTOpen v7.1 or/and v7.2 of the IBM Toolbox for Java driver (jt400.jar) on iSeries.
