Goal

Questions on Security History records and the Event Type 04

Question 1:  Security History Review screen shows many lines for Event Type 04


In the Security History Review screen (Program ID: P98OWSEC, Form ID:W98OWSECC), there is a grid column named Event Type. When reviewing security history, there are many records with event type = 04 (System Administrator Change). Please advise on the meaning of System Administrator Change and how this event is triggered:




Enhancement <Bug 23243067> SECURITY HISTORY RECORDS FILTERED BY EVENT TIME VALUE (This is an enhancement that would allow users to filter by Event Time).



Question 2:  Multiple records in F9312 of Event Type 04


If the event 04 is for tracking the password change by a system admin, than why are there two entries in security history generated within 10 seconds?  From the screen shot below, there are 4 security history entries related to 2 user IDs. The first two entries are created between 18:05:03 to 18:15:03. The 3rd and 4th entries are created between 13:54:26 and 13:54:39:



 

Question 3:  Differences between F9312 and F0092 after adding a user

 

With regards to SHEVTYP and SHEVSTAT of F9312, what is the difference between 05 - Add User and 10 - Add User to F0092?
