E1: BSFN: ER Debugger Does Not Work in Tool Release 8.98.4.1 and above (Doc ID 1301062.1)

Symptoms

ER Debugger does not stop on breakpoints.

With Tools Release 8.98.4.1 and above the ER Debugger does not stop on breakpoints.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Sign into EnterpriseOne on Fat Client
  2. Start EnterpriseOne Menu
  3. Start DEBUGGER.EXE
  4. Set a breakpoint e.g. in P01012
  5. Start P01012 or any other application using Fast Path. Then the application hangs.
  6. After a while the following error message pops up in the Debugger:
SetBreakPoint invocation error. 0x1 (no response).

Any interactive applications on local web client return a "page not found / 404" error.

Another similar issue has been reported, whereby attempts to run any interactive applications on local web client return a "page not found / 404" error if running concurrent to ER Debugger. The error message in ER Debugger is:

ResumeProcess invocation error. 0x1 (no response).
