In production while working in any applications for example; while placing the order, users are getting the commit fail error. The symptom found was that the Kernel looping, due to the locking in log files. The administrator took action to terminate the log, the lock was released and the system continued to process correctly.
The error was found in the OW_JRNL journal. The administrator then removed the log generated in JDE900 and E1 is working again, why?
