Symptoms

'Login Failed' is displayed in JDeveloper when creating a EnterpriseOne Project from JDeveloper and you are running SSE and/or SQL Server 2008. The error 'Login Failed' is displayed in JDeveloper is as below:

 

The BSSV Logs (Debug logs) generated when JDeveloper attempts to connect to E1 shows errors indicating that the connection to the E1 database is not possible:

Note: the same traces would also be seen might be seen in the logs when attempting to deploy a BSSV Package. This document should also provide a solution for such cases.
