Last updated on AUGUST 26, 2022

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 8.97 and Prior and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Planning to use Guaranteed Real Time Events (RTE) to send data from the JDE system to an external system. Only certain types of records are required and so looking to filter the data before sending out of JDEE1 to the transaction server.

For example, RTABOUT sends address book information. The external system requires only Supplier Address book records with Search Type "V", not Employees or Customer information to be sent to the external system.

This data filtering of outbound data is required for most of the interfaces that will be implemented. How can filtering be done using Real Time Events?
