E1: ENV: Unable to Log On to the Deployment Environment from the Deployment Server; "Server does not exist or access denied" Error (Doc ID 1312844.1)

Symptoms

In this scenario, customer is unable to log onto the DEP - Deployment Environment from the Deployment Server. The jde.log shows the following:

3856/3852 MAIN_THREAD Thu Apr 07 11:23:53.703002 Jdbodbc.c1340     ODB0000164 - DBC:01 [01000][2] [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][DBMSLPCN]ConnectionOpen (Connect()).
3856/3852 MAIN_THREAD Thu Apr 07 11:23:53.703003 Jdbodbc.c1350     ODB0000010 - SQLDriverConnect failed. ODBC DSN: EnterpriseOne Local.

 

Changes

Applied Microsoft updates to the JD Edwards deployment server. After the updates were applied, the customer cannot connect to the database.
