E1: UBE: How to Submit UBEs to LOCAL on Windows Terminal Servers (Doc ID 1316327.1)

Last updated on MAY 11, 2022

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version SP24 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

The EnterpriseOne Windows client will have slightly different behavior when installed on a server class OS (Windows 2008 Server for example) with Terminal Services enabled. One of such differences is that there will be no option to Override Location to the LOCAL data source. This behavior is to prevent users from submitting UBEs to the terminal server itself and degrade its overall performance.

For cases where you require the ability to submit UBEs to LOCAL on EnterpriseOne Windows clients installed on Windows Terminal servers, the steps below provide workaround.
