Last updated on OCTOBER 25, 2023

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version SP24 to 8.98 [Release SP24 to 8.98]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Purpose

This knowledge document is designed to direct you through basic JDEdwards EnterpriseOne Product Packaging Known Issues and troubleshooting. The knowledge attachments are not meant as a substitute for the Product Packaging Guide, but as an aid for better understanding for troubleshooting Applying Product Packages issues.

Note: We now recommend using Object Packaging instead of Product Packaging:
Object packaging within OMW is the mechanism by which you can save and restore your OMW project or JD Edwards EnterpriseOne objects from and to local specifications. Object packaging provides a very simple way to move any JD Edwards EnterpriseOne object from one machine to another through the creation of a zip file that contains compressed files and directories. The zip file, called a PAR file, can consist of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne objects from either local specifications or from central objects.

Scope

The knowledge included in this document is meant for users that have a basic understanding of the Product Packaging process and have read the Product Packaging Guide.
