Last updated on FEBRUARY 05, 2020

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version SP24 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

This document lists the concepts and information on different types of EnterpriseOne Software Updates patches.

Software Update is the process for applying an Electronic Software Update patch, or ESU, or a Cumulative Application Software Update patch, (such as E1 9.1 Update 2 (UM2)), sometimes also referred to as Application Software Updates (ASU's), although the term ASU is being phased out.

This process has been designed to mask complexity from the users and reduce the number of steps required for installation of object fixes within the E1 software.

Information pertains to all customers installing any Software Update patch from EnterpriseOne XE to 9.1 application release level.
