(Doc ID 1324965.1)
Last updated on SEPTEMBER 10, 2024
Applies to:
JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Requirements Planning - Version XE and later Information in this document applies to any platform.
Purpose
The purpose of this document is to explain how to use "In-Transit Receipt Routing" to enable Multi-Plant MRP (R3483) to accurately plan for stock that has been shipped from the Supply Branch side of a Transfer Order, but which has not yet been received at the Demand Branch.
Without using the in-transit receipt routing, MRP is unable to "see" the shipped stock, which results in planning messages being suggested to generate more supply than is actually required.
Scope
Users of JD Edwards Requirements Planning programs will find this document helpful.
