E1: XMLP: Query Builder Errors When JDBC Data Source Proxy Authentication is Enabled (Doc ID 1345147.1)

Symptoms

Scenario 1: BI Publisher Enterprise's Query Builder will not work if  "Proxy Authentication" check box is enabled for JDBC data source using and if using Data Access Driver (DAD) tools release 8.98.4.3 or 8.98.4.4.

This issue is known to happen with BI Publisher Enterprise 10g and 11g running on Windows 2008 64 bits. The problem cannot be reproduced on similar installs using Windows 2008 32 bit.

In this scenario Query Builder will display either of the following error messages:
