Goal

Why B1300040 (ParseTextStringCRM) and other similar business function such as B0500690 (ParseTextString) ignore empty segment/token and return token of next filled segment ?
When trying to parse a record from a delimited text file using function B1300040, if a segment(s) are empty the function returns value of next non empty segment instead.
