E1: OMW: How to Enable Default Projects for Web Users with Versions and User Defined Codes (UDC) ? (Doc ID 1352346.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 03, 2019

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 8.98 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

By default, there is no default project for any Web user even though they can create versions and User Defined Codes (UDC).

Default projects are created when a user launches Object Management Workbench (OMW) the first time. However web users do not have access to OMW so a default project will not be created.

In previous releases an admin could go to the users default project and move all the objects to an OMW project but with a web user, there are no objects since there is no default project. This document focuses on the solution for getting versions and UDC promoted to all environments that are created by Web users?
