Purpose

Overview

Formulas are a tool that can be used to define complex price structures. Each formula can be as simple or as complex as the user requires it to be. When defining a formula, either the Variable table (F4075) or selected fields from the F4211 - approximately 30-  table can be used.  Formulas work with Quantity, Weight and Volume Level Breaks. A formula is comprised of components, which can include specific numeric values, F4211 fields (aliases), mathematical operations, variable names, and functions. Some components must be identified by a special character, defined in the Price Constants (P41001).
