(Doc ID 1360676.1)

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Fulfillment Management - Version 9.0 and later Information in this document applies to any platform.
Purpose
Within the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Fulfillment Management system, functionality exists which allows you to call a user defined business function. You can leverage this capability to create customized scoring capabilities and custom service level rule capabilities. Because the call to your custom function is handled through configuration data (instead of a modification to base code) you can create custom capabilities without changing a single line of base JD Edwards EnterpriseOne code. While you have created some custom code through this process, you can more easily stay code current because the base system remains unchanged.
Advantages to using this technique to implement custom logic include:
Create a function that does whatever you want it to do:
Specifically tailored scoring capability
Specifically tailored to complex service level rules
Flexible framework for when your custom function is executed, use the flexibility of Fulfillment Management to determine when the custom code is executed
PLEASE NOTE: User Defined Custom Business Function code developed by Customers or Business Partners and integrated into the Fulfillment Management programs is not supported by Global Support. If you have difficulty getting your Custom Business Function to work as desired, you can request assistance from Oracle Consulting Group.
