E1: 45: Variable Tables in Advanced Pricing (P4075/P4072/P4071) (Doc ID 1363180.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 01, 2019

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Advanced Pricing - Sales - Version XE and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Purpose

Use a variable table where there is a requirement to track a price that changes frequently, for example in the petroleum products or precious metals industries. The variable table functionality is available in both Sales and Procurement adjustments, and can be used on its own using Basis Code 6, or within a formula adjustment (Basis Code 7).

When you create a price override, make sure that you check the Override Price. This ensures that you will override any other price with the variable price.
