(Doc ID 1363180.1)

Applies to:
JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Advanced Pricing - Sales - Version XE and later Information in this document applies to any platform.
Purpose
Use a Variable Table where there is a requirement to track a price that changes frequently, for example in the petroleum products or precious metals industries. The Variable Table functionality is available in both Sales and Procurement adjustments, and can be used on its own using Basis Code 6, or within a formula adjustment (Basis Code 7). The technical brief on formula functionality (1357902.1) contains a section on using Variable Tables.
In many cases the result of the Variable Table will be used as a base price for an item, overriding or substituting a price held in the F4106 table. In these instances, ensure the "Override Price" box is checked in the Price Adjustment Definition.
