E1: 45: New Base Price Flag and Basis Code = 0 (P4070/P4071/P4072) (Doc ID 1367916.1)

Last updated on APRIL 18, 2024

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Advanced Pricing - Sales - Version 8.12 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Purpose

The ‘New Base Price’ is a flag that is set in the Price Adjustment Schedule program (P4070). It works in conjunction with the Basis Code ‘0’ (% of New base Price) in the Price Adjustment Details program (P4072). The functionality in the schedule allows the user to specify that the result of an adjustment calculation be set as the ‘new’ base price, while still allowing other adjustments to be based on the existing base price, whether from the Work with Base Price program (P4106) or calculated from an adjustment. The functionality in the adjustment details provides the ability to base the adjustment calculation on a percentage of the new base price value that is obtained by setting the aforementioned flag in the schedule. This enhancement is available in release 8.12 and above.
