Application Release XE\SP24.1.3 & Using Windows 7(64 bit) as Workstations.
You did a mandatory sign on package Deploy on Windows 7 however the installation aborted during the JITI.
Installing the client directly via deployment server does work & the User Account has all the Administrative privileges.
Errors in jdeinst.log:
W CInstaller::ValidateWorkstationDir: Microsoft recommends installing applications Under <Drive:>\Program Files directory.User can also install JD Edwards EnterpriseOne under <Drive>:\B7.
W CCopyList::RetryRegisterFile: Setup cannot auto register the file 'C:\Windows\system32\msxml.dll'. The error reported by the operating system is 'Access is denied. '
Steps to Replicate the issue:
1.Start the E1 Client "Run as Administrator":
