E1: WCS: Unable to Register a HTML Server Instance (JAS) as Portlet Producer ( WSRP ) in WebCenter Portal (Doc ID 1403554.1)

EnterpriseOne Portal is setup using WebCenter and WebLogic.  JAS server (WebLogic) is used as a portlet producer (WSRP). The registration process is done following the instructions in the Portal Reference for Oracle WebCenter Guide for the Tools Release version. The registration fails on WebCenter, showing the following error on screen:

          Component AdminServer
             Module javax.enterprise.resource.webcontainer.jsf.application
Supplemental Detail javax.faces.el.EvaluationException:
[trace follows]

In the WebCenter log, the error shows:

oracle.portlet.wsrp.v1.OperationFailedException: OperationFailed

Logs from JAS do not show any sign of activity.


The install has custom values for SSO Token generation.
