This document is a collection of "currently known" configuration issues that can occur when configuring LDAP Authentication with EnterpriseOne.

If an issue occurs while starting the EnterpriseOne Enterprise Server Service(s) after enabling LDAP, always try and collect the Security Kernel JDE log and Security Kernel debug log from the Enterprise Server to begin troubleshooting the issue.

NOTE: It is suggested to test LDAP connection details, filters and searches using a LDAP Administration tool before using them in E1 configuration. Open source tools like Apache Directory Studio, JXplorer, etc. can be very useful to check and test LDAP settings and responses.

 Issue 4:  Issue with Microsoft Active Directory, binding sAMAccountName as USRSRCHATR
 Issue 5:  'LDAP search failed,trying to get the connection again' errors intermittently appear in the Security Kernel logs
 Issue 6: 'Sign In Error: Incorrect User ID or Password' after restricting users to login only from specific workstations on an AD LDAP enabled system
 Issue 7: Receiving "Error code from LDAP DSA is unwilling to perform" errors in Security Kernels logs.
