Purpose

Overview - P13714 to P13730 or P48201 to P17714

For equipment work orders, Work with Work Orders (P48201) calls Work Order Revisions (P17714) which calls CAM - Manage Work Order Parts (P17730); the Planning Workbench (P13700) calls Work Order Revisions (P13714) calls P13730 - CAM: Manage Work Order Parts (P13730).  Both combinations are valid for equipment work orders.  This bulletin displays examples from the P13700 - P13714 combination as they are specifically designed for CAM equipment functionality.

Parts required for a work order are attached on a parts list (F3111) and displayed on either the P13730 or P17730, as user determined.  The parts can default from a bill of material (F3002) when a bill of material is copied to the work order or can be entered manually.  If the Commitment Control from the Manufacturing Constants (P3009) is set to Hard at Creation of Parts List and the inventory of a part is insufficient to meet the estimated quantity on the part list, the Estimated Quantity field will be displayed in BOLD.

Scope

Applicable to CAM and Plant & Equipment users
