E1: INST: Windows PATH Causing Installation Errors (Doc ID 1452820.1)

Symptoms

On : JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Xe SP24 application release level and above including EnterpriseOne 9.1

Symptoms include DLL errors and database errors during the installation.

This issue can affect clients and server machines installation as well as ESU installation, this issue also could happen opening UTB in a fat client.

Reported Errors:

1 - JDB9900160 - Failed to load driver library jdboci90.DLL

2 - JDB9900160 - Failed to load driver library jdboci111.DLL

3 - Unable to retrieve BLC spec for Business Function UpdatePlannerTables - (ESU Installation)

4  - Security server not found

5  - Failed to automatically determine Oracle version.  If available, you can add 'sqlplus' to your environment path for automated version checking
