Purpose

System Functions provide an interface to dynamically change system level functionality using Event Rules. In some scenarios, it is required to modify the data selection and data sequencing dynamically based on some runtime parameters.

This document provides information and examples of the various System Functions available within Event Rules to modify Data Selection and Data Sequence.

Scope

This document is intended for the EnterpriseOne developer and covers system functions used to modify data selection and sequencing on reports.

Knowledge of the Report Design Aid Development tool is a prerequisite. The Report Design Aid Guide is available at the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Documentation site under the appropriate Tools Release level.
