Information in this document applies to any platform.

Purpose

This document provides general information and assist customers on troubleshooting known issues during the installation of the Web Development Feature, which is part of the Web Development Client Install configuration.

As of Tools Release 9.1, the Development Client is installed using the Oracle Universal Installer (OUI). In addition, the Web Client is installed as a package feature using OUI. For more information on Web Dev Feature and its installation, refer to the "Web Development Client Guide" and to the "Deployment Server Reference Guide", Chapter 3 "Setting Up a Development Client Installer on the Deployment Server", specially Section 3.3, "Creating the Web Development Feature" and Section 3.4, "Creating an Installation Package".
