JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Requisition Self Service - Version 8.11 Base and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Purpose

The Requisition Self Service system enables organizations to reduce management and administrative procurement functions by providing employees a self-service program to enter their own requests for non-stock items (i.e. office supplies).  This allows the purchasing departments to focus on approving requisitions and handling requests.  The business challenge that this created was that the person requesting the goods/services was the only person able to enter and receive the requisitions.  With the newly added enhancement in EnterpriseOne release 9.1, we now provide the ability to delegate this responsibility to other users  in order to add, inquire and receive requisitions in Requisition Self Service.
