Symptoms
After creating the rules for creating a custom environment as described in Document 2216807.2 E1: ENV: How to Create a Custom Environment Using the Environment Director (P989400) or the Installation Plan or Add a Standard Environment Using Deployment and Enterprise Server Installers, the following scripts need to be run in order to create the database owners and database instances in SQL Server 2008 R2:
- ce_InstallSQLDatabase.bat
- ce_JDESET.bat
These scripts are located in MSSQL\scripts folder under the location where database component for PlatformPack is installed (e.g. z:\JDEdwardsPPack\E910\MSSQL\scripts).
After editing the scripts so that the database isntances and owners to have the proper prefixes, when the scripts are run, the following error is reported in the command prompt window:
