Oracle WebLogic Server 10.3.5 is running on a UNIX EnterpriseOne JAS Server. When starting the Weblogic server via command line or via Server Manager Console (SMC), the heap size is different.
- When using the startManagedWebLogic.sh script file to start the managed server services from the command line, the JVM memory arguments are set to: -Xms512m -Xmx512m
- When starting Weblogic Server instance from SMC, it correctly sets the max heap size to 1.5g.
Business processes require starting the managed server services using the command line script file startManagedWebLogic.sh and having the max JVM heap size set to 1.5g. Why does the script file reset the JVM heap size to 512mb?
