You are trying to create a new Value Object using JDev 11.1.1.5 or JDev 12.1.2 . You can create the .jave file successfully, but when you right click on the java file, you get an error in Jdeveloper.
'An unexpected severe error has occurred in JDeveloper'
Trying to create a new JD Edwards E1 Business service. You have created a value object and now when you Right click on a .java file in the application navigator and jDeveloper has a fatal error.

2. You right mouse click on the java code in jdev to "Create Business Function Call". However, the menu spashes for a second and disappear.
