E1: PKG: Failed to Launch Nmake Error During Package Build (Doc ID 1514374.1)

Symptoms

Client full package build failed with nmake.exe error. Server full package is able to complete successfully.

The following error is in buildlog.txt:

"Failed to launch nmake".


All the BSFNs failed to build and no DLLs were generated. Uninstall and reinstall Visual Studio 2005 on the deployment server in the deployment server but still no success. Building a single business function in OMW also gives the same error.
