E1: GRID: Grid Export takes an Excessive Amount of Time after Upgrading to Tools Release 9.1.2 (Doc ID 1526217.1)

Symptoms

After upgrading from tools release 9.1.x to 9.1.2.3 exporting to excel is not working properly:

  1. From some applications is taking a large amount of time. Excel opens immediately but you can see the export of the data row by row when for other applications the excel sheets opens immediately with all the data already included. This is regardless of the amount of records.
  2. From some applications like Open Purchase Orders (P4310/W4310G) results in inconsistent date formats in the worksheet. For example. When the correct date format should be dd/mm/yy, after exporting to excel there are a number of rows in Excel with the incorrect date format mm/dd/yy. Also certain Cells are shown in Excel as General format for the date field and certain cells are shown as "Date" format in the date field causing inconsistent display.
